
About Me
Margo Moran is a writer, editor and creator based in Queens, New York. Since graduating Magna Cum Laude from Syracuse University with majors in Communication and Rhetorical Studies and Political Science, Margo has enjoyed working as a freelance writer for UUWorld Magazine. During her undergraduate career, she completed a Race, Gender, and Class thesis on the topic of transphobic standup comedy, resulting in graduating with distinction in Political Science. During her junior and senior years, she was the Head Arts and Culture and Head Opinion Editor, respectively, of Jerk Magazine, SU’s premier arts and culture magazine. She had the opportunity to spend summer 2021 as an Editorial Intern at BUST Magazine and Spring 2022 as a Production Intern for NPR’s PopLife podcast.
